Community Music Works (CMW) is a music school for children interested in music. The structure was inspired by the static effect in photography called ‘Anaglyph’. Anaglyph also comes from the Greek word anagluphē (ana - ‘up’ + gluphē - ‘carve’). Images using this effect create a motion of moving back, similar to the movement of music, in the form of sound waves.

Majority of the structure is underground including the practice rooms and classrooms provide quiet spaces for the students, and to keep the street quiet for residents living near the school. The wave-like structure provides an above ground play area for the students and children of the neighbourhood.
