Diamant Kunsthaus BregenzBregenz, Austria05-2022

The Kunsthaus Bregenz is a contemporary art exhibition, crafted by Peter Zumthor. The original facade consists of a systematic layout of 6x3m glass panels. This project explores an open approach to the facade of the building. Iterations for a system and pattern was done through physical model making and code. This project along with my coding classes in college, grew my interest in combining code with architecture.

The new system connects the midpoints of the rectangular glass panels to create a diamond. In between each diamond is a balcony in order for the guests to view the magnificent water outside the museum. This design harmoniously merges the elegance of indoor art with the vast beauty of nature, painting diamonds across the sky.
